What is the Mayor's Book Club?

The Mayor's Book Club is a FREE monthly program for 3 and 4 year old children. Children participating in the Mayor's Book Club receive a Mayor's Book Club T-Shirt and a new bilingual book each month. Children can also watch the Mayor and others read the monthly book on Longmont's Channel 8.

Why was it created?

The purpose of the Mayor's Book Club is to encourage a love for reading. Reading early in life also helps promote child development and later school success.

How can I sign-up?

Sign up is continuous throughout the year. To sign-up, please complete this online form or download one of the PDF files, fill it out and send it back to us.

Mayor's Book Club is brought to you by the City of Longmont & Bright EYES
