Have your kids outgrown the typical summer camp? The City of Longmont, Recreation Services, has the answer for you! The SPOT (Summer Programs & Outdoor Trips) is an outdoors oriented, adventure based camp that runs for six weeks over the summer for youth ages 12-16.

Each three day session generally consists of one 9-5 day and then two days joined by an overnight. Activities vary by week, but include hiking, rafting, camping, mountain biking, swimming, tree and rock climbing, Elitch Gardens, and Water World. The sixth week concludes the summer with a three day canoeing trip down the Colorado River.
