Swimming Pool Facilities
The City of Longmont has 5 swimming pools and operates Union Reservoir Swim Beach.
There are fees for facility usage. Recreation Facility Passes are NOT accepted at Union Reservoir, separate use fees apply. View the Fee Information Page for details on

Aquatic Programs
Swim Lesson Programs – Longmont Recreation Services offers swimming lessons for children as young as 6 months through adults enjoying the golden years. Year-round learn-to-swim classes are available at both Centennial Pool and the Longmont Recreation Center. Swimming lessons are also available at Sunset Pool and Kanemoto Activity Pool during the summer months. Download pages from current recreation brochure.
CARA Swim Team - Longmont Recreation Services offers CARA Swim Teams for youth ages 6 to 18 years at three different sites throughout the year: Centennial Tsunamis CARA, Longmont Recreation Center Piranha CARA, and summer Sunset Swordfish CARA.
Spring Board Diving Programs – Longmont Recreation Services offers year-round Springboard Diving Program complete with spring board diving lessons and a Diving Club.
Lifeguard and Swim Instructor Certification Classes – Longmont Recreation Services teaches individuals 15 and older to become American Red Cross Lifeguards and, for those 16 years and older, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. Longmont Recreation Services hires American Red Cross Lifeguards to guard each pool and beach facility and American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors to teach swim lessons.
Unpaid College Internships - Longmont Recreation Services offers a limited number of unpaid recreation internships for individuals who need internship college credit towards a degree in the recreation field.
